ROSSENDALE CAR SALES HASLINGDEN TERMS AND CONDITIONS
When purchasing any used vehicle from ROSSENDALE Car Sales all Purchasers will be asked to read and accept the terms and conditions of sale. If for any reason you are not happy with anything which has been said by any member of Staff, or are not sure of any meanings of the terms used during the sale process you are advised to seek clarification prior to accepting these Terms and Conditions. Once you, The Purchaser, has signed a Sales Contract or Invoice you will be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
Deposits are non-refundable. When a deposit is placed on any vehicle and you later decide to cancel the agreement for any reason, any deposits paid will be deemed to have been forfeited. Please only leave deposits if you are certain that you happy with the vehicle you have chosen. Anyone leaving a deposit has 14 days to complete the purchase of the vehicle chosen, failure to complete the transaction will result in any deposits being retained and the vehicle will be re-advertised. Should ROSSENDALE Car Sales suffer any financial loss or additional costs you could be Billed for these additional costs by way of compensation.
Vehicle Pick up/Point of sale
At the point of sale, should your chosen vehicle require any work or MOT we will endeavour to complete the necessary work within 7 working days from the date of purchase. In the event of any unforeseen delays, or delays in delivery of parts we will notify you by either e-mail or telephone. We cannot be held responsible for any knock on effects due to such delays.
At the time of delivery of your vehicle you will be given every opportunity to inspect the vehicle to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with its cosmetic appearance and mechanical condition based upon the age and mileage of the vehicle. Vehicles are sold with the accessories and extras fitted as shown at the time of purchase. We cannot be held responsible nor warranty any accessories such as CD Players, SD Cards, Sat Navigation, Parking sensors, A/C etc unless specifically noted on any advertisements, on our website or noted on our sales Invoice as being in full working order, it is the responsibility of the buyer to check everything is in working order prior to accepting the vehicle.
You will be advised at the time of sale of any remaining Vehicle Manufacturers warranty still valid at time of purchase. All used vehicles sold will be sold with a minimum of 90 day warranty or longer where specified in any advertisement or noted on our Website, except in cases where vehicles are sold as seen and noted as such on the Sales Invoice. Extended Warranties are available at additional cost to the purchaser and our sales staff will be happy to assist/advise you of your options and costs.
It is the purchasers responsibility to inform ROSSENDALE Car Sales of any faults or problems with the vehicle after delivery during the Warranty period, and the user should not drive the vehicle should any faults be noted, unless authorised by a member of staff at Rossendale Car Sales, we cannot be held responsible for any consequential damage caused by continuing to use the vehicle.
Warranties offered do NOT cover any failure or damage due to natural fair wear and tear to any part of the vehicle, running gear, or mechanical parts such as clutch, gearbox, brake pads/discs and tyres according to the age and mileage of the vehicle, nor can we be held responsible for any damage caused directly, or indirectly, by the user, or failure of the user to take reasonable preventative steps to take care of the vehicle, following purchase.
In cases where reported faults are diagnosed as being due to fair wear and tear the owners will be invoiced at standard repair rates at a Garage designated by Rossendal Car Sales unless otherwise agreed in writing. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to deliver the vehicle for such repairs in a timely manner. Failure to comply with this agreement will void any warranties given or implied. All Warranty work must be carried out in accordance with the instructions given by either Rossendale Car Sales, or the Providers of the Warranty agreement issued at the time of Purchase.
Rossendale Car Sales cannot be held responsible for ANY MOT certification matters as all MOT’s are issued by external independent MOT stations.
ROSSENDALE Car Sales do not provide or offer any courtesy vehicles or loan cars. In cases where refunds are agreed between ROSSENDALE Car Sales and the Purchaser these will be made in the Form of a Cheque payable to the original purchaser of the vehicle. Any Buy backs will incur a deduction of value of the car according to length of time the vehicle has been in the possession of the Buyer and Mileage driven since purchase at a rate of 70 pence per mile.Any complaints must be made in writing and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the Laws of the United Kingdom and each party irrevocably and unconditionally submits to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the United Kingdom, and I, the Purchaser, confirm that I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions forming a signed contract of Sale of the Vehicle mentioned on the attached Invoice.
